Hardest part was the wiring to the back lights. Connectors under the seat are different on FLS vs FLSTN and the mode of action of the signal, brake, and running lights are different too. Have the rear fender set up to run either slim or deluxe seating/rack/pillion configurations.

Solo, spring seat.... I find it comfortable for about 125 miles at a time. sits me up a little higher... But gives me more leg room at 6'1..... Someone asked if it was bouncy... Not at all.

Yep... Front fender light is wired in

Nope right side toolbox doesn't come in black... Had it PC'd

If the were to do anything else? .... Springer front end. May do that with some heavy hitting cams this winter.

Here is an OR pic and a shot w/ bags and pad.

Wow dude! Great job. I didn't even know it was a slim. I have a couple buddies looking to move from metrics to Harleys and they both like the slims. I will have to send them a link to this thread. Some really amazing rides and ideas in this thread.

Well, I was trying to hold off and post pics of my bike after it was finished, but can't help it. The tins are off and in the hands of Pat of Kustom Flames getting some HOK Oriental Blue Kandy and Glacier Pearl. Custom fab'd stretched rear, stretched tank, and stretched dash done by Jason's Garage Inc. Klockwerks front fender and spade brakelight. Freight train nacelle trimmed to fit the Carlini risers with HHI 16" 1.5" Reaper bars. Custom fitted Lepera Deluxe Silhouette seat also done by Jason's Garage Inc. getting covered in some old school metal flake moody blue and white.

Kip, thanks for the details. I was one of your pm's asking about the rear. FLSTN struts and fender? I am asking because I am custom fitting a rear fender from a totally different bike and will need full size struts so I'm trying to find out which model and year struts will bolt on my 14 slim. I will be adapting the fender to the mounts using the front half of the stock fend Sr and the rear of the other fender. I can sort out the light wiring myself but the tin work will be shopped out.

Matched, it would look more like a metric wanna be.

Anyone here good at photoshopping, change the tank color so we can see.

Weren't oil tanks in the day this model is representing normally gloss black?

Just sayin'...
