6" or more "bobbed"
I thought the rear fender looked bare as well. I chopped/ bobbed the rear fender more than 6" with a cutoff wheel, and found a used Street bob tail light. I reinforced the fender, by making a custom carefully rolled and bent steel doubler. (I have access to a shop). The steel doubler fits under the fender to avoid cracking from the weight of the tail light. Cracked fenders were common on Street Bobs with this light.
Matching fork tins just bolt on. Stock seat is easily changed with the panhead seat. I enjoy EVERYTHING better about the panhead seat, but its fun to swap out once in awhile.
I can't wait to see what Donzie ends up with as well! Please post a shot.

Donzie said: "Yep, figured that out. Ordered the part, and picked up a vintage style tailight/license bracket for the rear fender"."IMO the rear fender looks bare without a tail light."

Panhead seat with bobbed/ chopped mounts:
WKNDS is correct.

This thread link above, post #153 has some photos of my Panhead seat. Very comfortable. I truly like the higher seating position in every way, from more comfort, more legroom, and ease of control over the bike at low speed and when stopped.
I Cut down/ bobbed/ welded the front and rear mount for this seat. It sits much lower than the stock parts from HD.

Love the look, just don't like the plastic covers you have to use under the seat, although I don't see it on yours.

had mine covered by an upholstry shop. Eventually I'll
get the ECM moved off the fender to under the frame cover
and have the fender hole filled in smooth...

Computer and seat covers
You are correct: You don't see covers on my bike.
I relocated my computer, and custom made (chopped/ bobbed)? a piece of aluminum to fill the square hole left by the plastic computer mount. Painted with a non HD Vivid Black, it matches and looks like a smooth fender from the old days.
I plan to remove the struts and make a rear fender that hugs the rear tire (and starts near the shocks, eliminating the plastic fender) like an old school chopper/ bobber some day in the future...
