Hello Everybody,

I own a 2013 Slim and got lots of great ideas from this thread. Here's my version of how a Slim should look:

Nice. Cool touch with the paint/speedball badges. Lots of other details in there, too. Love a bike that's been thought out and pulled off neatly.

Yet another very different incarnation of the Slim.

Default Nice Reelman

Reelman, VERY nice.

Don't you love the comfort of that seat? I am VERY glad to see your photos! I was "torn" between choosing the Panhead seat you added with the "skirt" and metal trim, and the more minimal Panhead seat I used.

I really like that seat on your bike!

Hope you like the sprung seat as much as I do for softening harsh bumps!

Custom paint tank! Bike looks great.

I cut and welded (chopped, to lower the seat an inch) the mounting system from a NOS "dealer take off" Crossbones spring and mount system/ parts.

Question: Which seat mounting system did you use? Did you have to modify the battery cover?

BTW, Did you see this thread?

Enjoy riding that Custom Slim!
Steve

You're the only person I've seen with a similar sissy bar. Where'd you get yours?

JetFever, I used the stock spring seat kit for a softail Slim, and made a bracket for the bottom of the seat pan. to mate it together. I was told by many that the CrossBones kit would not mount on the Slim. I'm looking to convert the seat to accept coil springs, sometime this winter. I love the seat, its very comfortable.

As for the sissy bar, I ordered from E-bay. A welder out of Texas makes them. But he only sells on E-bay. Very good American made quality. Just google sissybar and Slim and he'll pop right up.

Bowman. Yeah that's where I got mine. Lol sent him the dimensions and now I guess he is mass marketing it.
