Somewhere off the 101 heading to Chico, CA. I made this sissy bar for my wife the night before we left. SHE LOVES IT!

Just a tip to all, the Slim loves Michellin Commander IIs when you are ready to make a tire change from the stock Dunlops.

I am looking to go with these when the time comes. Where is the best place to order from?

Nice to see you back, Jam.

Yup, motorcycle superstore is where I got mine.

They also have a "preferred installer" option where you can have them shipped to an indy in your zip code if you don't have a balancer at home. I don't, and picked a guy who got good reviews and had a good price.

Just make sure you call the indy first to confirm they are still part of the program and their prices are current.

I was very pleased with the guy who installed mine and met a nice indy that will come in handy.

Here is my new Mysterious Sunglo Red Slim. Less than 1K miles. Coming off an 07 Night Train.

The Slim has got to be the coolest looking stock bike Harley makes. Nice and clean, toned down lines. Classic.

Nice color too, fury.

Default ebay Fork Tins

Found some stainless NOS upper fork tins CHEAP:-)
I am moving toward the "old school" look…The stock seat is back on while I "chop" and weld the Solo "Panhead" seat mount.

I really like the continuity of the same color on the Forks.
I have been thorough this entire thread, I don't remember seeing one Slim fork done this way. I am happy with the look have no plans to go back to black.
