While on the topic of horns, I highly recommend the FIAMM Freeway blaster if you find the stock horn too moped sounding for your taste. It fits in the stock cowbell, (and most aftermarket horn covers like mine).

They cost about 19 bucks or so. I preferred the low tone horn.

I did the same, cost was minimal and I tend to use it on blind corners with driveways or on country roads to get get animals to move. This seems to get the attention of people more than my loud pipes. I got mine from Amazon.

Default Hi Guys newbie from the Uk

As the title says I'm a new slim owner, had the bike after trading my 48 in about 2 months ago. I love the bike to bits but working on a few changes

Not sure why but the UK bike has a oval air cleaner as standard and you guys in the US have the round one.

Priced up the new parts and as expected way too much.

Now here goes......... Any of you guys with the standard round air clear willing to sell and ship to me the UK (at my expense) I need the complete unit including filter and hardware.

Thanks Dutch. We're gonna rent a bike on the Big Island, HI for a few days during our honeymoon.

I'll miss my Slim so much, I'll probably just rent one instead of another type of Harley. haha.

Take advantage and ride something different...I would!! I read somewhere that to qualify to be called a biker, you have to own more than one. And while I love my Slim dearly, having a Dyna or a touring bike would be sweet!

Have fun and Mahalo!

Curious, are those true duals, or is there a hidden crossover pipe like OEM exhaust?
