Good deal, man. Are you sure that bag ain't gonna mess up your paint over time? Or maybe get caught being draped down like that so near pulley and belt?

It's your bike, but I'll be honest. Besides those concerns, IMHO the bag looks a bit droopy and out of place on an otherwise cool bike.

In fact, you're right, the bag is too close to the pulley and I just mounted a saddlebag support. Now it's much safer.

Thanks.

I'm changing to a different Slip-Ons just for the look only.
From: 2-1/2" Python Slip-ons... 1801-0256
To: Vance & Hines Slip-ons 1801-0260

I prefer the straight cut over the slash cut.
Yep… the Pythons will soon be Avaiable for Purchase.

Just added a horn cover...for $10 off of eBay (aka The Devil) I couldnt pass it up. All metal, although it look like old time bakelite. Just had to drill one hole for the horn...what do you all think? I am still on the fence about it, but better than the cowbell and it is kind of retro.

While waiting for monotubes, I became bored one rainy day and decided to turn my BigShots tips out, like you have pictured. Turned out pretty easy since the tips have two sets of tapped holes for that purpose.
I was surprised how much louder they sounded afterwards, well, maybe not louder but they sounded a lot more raspy and tinny...
I've since turned them back down...

I think the horn cover looks cool and one of a kind, Dutch. I'd keep it, as long as it doesn't make the horn more quiet being framed like that.

While on the topic of horns, I highly recommend the FIAMM Freeway blaster if you find the stock horn too moped sounding for your taste. It fits in the stock cowbell, (and most aftermarket horn covers like mine).

They cost about 19 bucks or so. I preferred the low tone horn.

Not framed in at all...lots of airspace for the horn to do what it does. It is growing on me and yea, it is sorta one of a kind. Unless something else comes along that really knocks my socks off, it stays.

Replacing the horn with something louder...that could be in the works...but has to wait for the time being as I have to get the Cage fixed...fu@&ing Dodge. >
