It's your bike, but I'll be honest. Besides those concerns, IMHO the bag looks a bit droopy and out of place on an otherwise cool bike.

Good deal, man. Are you sure that bag ain't gonna mess up your paint over time? Or maybe get caught being draped down like that so near pulley and belt?

While waiting for monotubes, I became bored one rainy day and decided to turn my BigShots tips out, like you have pictured. Turned out pretty easy since the tips have two sets of tapped holes for that purpose.
I was surprised how much louder they sounded afterwards, well, maybe not louder but they sounded a lot more raspy and tinny...
I've since turned them back down...

I think the horn cover looks cool and one of a kind, Dutch. I'd keep it, as long as it doesn't make the horn more quiet being framed like that.
While on the topic of horns, I highly recommend the FIAMM Freeway blaster if you find the stock horn too moped sounding for your taste. It fits in the stock cowbell, (and most aftermarket horn covers like mine).
They cost about 19 bucks or so. I preferred the low tone horn.

Replacing the horn with something louder...that could be in the works...but has to wait for the time being as I have to get the Cage fixed...fu@&ing Dodge. >
