That looks great. I was going to do something similar but use a whole Fatboy fender but the fender I bought got damaged during shipping. Looks like I'll be chopping it too. Got everything I need except the wheel and tire.

it was a pain in my A$$, I didnt have the right tools, had to make 3 trips to the auto store...I have no press or vice, so once I got it all out it was 5hrs later. I gave up and this morning I took the shocks to a shop and they charged me 20 bucks to finish the shocks. Now my slim is throwing codes, so harley is coming to pick it up tomorrow. It says I have no gas, tank is full. And it says my blinkers are out which there not. So its been an adventure..LOL..but It looks awesome, while I was at the dealership, harley came out with white grips...so thats my next purchase.

Yeah I had to do some improvising to do mine, I used some brick pavers to build a little square for the shock to sit in then used my buddies golf cart to ease down onto the shock with a floor jack to get the spring clip out.
Sucks your having issues after, did you pinch something somehow? Did you measure it?

I didnt measure it, i know i have 4 notches left in the bolt. I looked to see if i pinched some thing, but theres no wires near the shocks and nothing under the seat got pinched...I think I knocked something that was loose...so its on its way to the shop..

Turned out good Jason. When I put bolts in I improvised for a press but without a vise I never could have done it.
