I don't think it would look like a blackline at all. The front wheel/tire wil keep it looking like a slim.

Yes- they're the glass bullet lenses from Auto Gem. Got orange for the front and red for the rear. I think it was $80 for the lot on ebay. Seems like quite a bit of change for 4 small pieces of glass, but they step up the look of the signals, over the chintzy plastic lenses.

I agree the auto gem lenses are really worth it. Kinda tops off the bike. Love my smoked lenses. They set off a really nice lighting array with my LEDs behind them.

Default 2014 Satin Charcoal

Just traded in our Super Glide Custom and Fat Bob for a Slim. We needed to go down to one bike payment. Originally was going to get a Street Glide but wife wanted nothing to do with it. We debated between a new Fat Bob and others. Ended up with Slim and after reading this forum for 5+ hours last night couldn't be happier! Looks like a lot of blacks; we're excited for the Charcoal.
Some early mods that are being done in the shop (will post pics when complete):

1. VH 2-1 Matte Black
2. Kuryakyn Mach 2 Air Cleaner Black
3. Screaming Eagle Pro Super Tuner and Dyno Tested
4. Diamond Black Grips, pegs, break
5. Black mirrors
6. Black brake, clutch levers
7. Powder coat wrinkle black: primary, derby cover, cam cover, timer cover and tranny cover (all for $200, much less than replacing the individual parts, which Harley steered me initially)

I question the Super Tuner, but eh, I want the performance. Our other bikes were pure stock and while fun, didn't feel like a Harley when I rode with friends.

Will post the evolved pics once it's complete. It's -20 in MN today so we're a ways away from riding weather!

Default Reflectors?

Curious why people are saying to pull them off? I presume you mean off the rear fender correct? Aesthetics?

Yeah, pure aesthetics... yes, rear and front fork reflectors.
I removed the "stickers" from my frame downtubes as well...

The reflectors do make you more visible at night though.
Its your bike - do what you will to please you, not others...

good luck,

T.

Default Swingarm Bag

Recomendations on swingarm bags? We're not going to do bags, we like the rear set up as is...
