It's hard enough to get the cages to see us during daylight, can't see making it harder at night.

Gotcha. Well, honestly I don't count on ANY cager ever seeing me and I drive accordingly. But again, I have driven once at night in the 3 months I've had this bike...and that was more like dusk.

I'm trying to decide between the Leatherworks and Garage Leather's. Think I'll go with the Leatherworks since they offer a 5% Hdforums discount. Is yours the standard 3" or XL 5"?

Yea, I would go with the Leatherworks too since you get the discount. I have the 5" and its perfect. The 3" would definitely work but I just wanted the extra room and from what I am read, the 5" give that little extra that matter a lot.

Not sure of any other side marker lighting there is. As far as reflectors, I am just not a fan of them and hardly do any riding at night.
What I did to be seen at night on my fatty was I installed led lighting on the underside of tank and engine. Not sure what the laws are in your area but I know here as long as there not flashing its legal here. Easy to install and takes up no power.

No offense meant, I just think you should have put the $40 into the piggy bank towards the tri-bar LED tail light.

Craigslist.... but if you are interested, I may be selling it to buy a TRI bar LED light. It is brand new, I just really really like the look of the TRI bar light....not that this one is bad, just different.

Yea, I agree. I don't hate it but I think I like the TRI bar better. I should be able to sell it for $40 though no problem....its brand new.
