While I am amazed at the number of emotional responses seen here, I am even more amazed at how the emotions are based on a total lack of understanding about ABS braking and basic physics.
I think its crap that HD packages the ABS and security system together. I would take the security system and leave the abs on the shelf..
You can always add the security after. That's what I did with my 2011 FLSTC. Didn't want to pay extra for ABS (been riding for 27 without it, why change now) but did want the security...cost me around $350 to add it on later.

Had a lot of HD's with out ABS. Have 31K plus on this one with ABS. I am Ok with having ridden in all kinds of weather.
Not a deal breaker for me with or without but my next one will have it.
Do your Homework before making such a judgement. I've worked on many Anti-skid systems (Aircraft, Car) and each one has its differences. But I will guarantee that they will usually stop you much quicker then most of the so called riding experts are capable of.
I've been riding for decades, never needed ABS, don't need it now.
Never needed seat belts or airbags either. Didn't have those when I started driving so I don't need them now. It's all hogwash made up by the man to keep us spending mo money.
The Deluxe that I take delivery of next month comes with ABS and security. I've never rode a bike with it, so I will form an opinion once I ride, but I really don't see how it could hurt having ABS
My '03 Ultra had the factory security system. It went belly up on my on Friday. I was out of town and had to have it towed to the closet HD dealer and call my wife for a ride home. When I went back to pick it up I traded it in for an '09 Ultra WITHOUT the security system. Same thing happened to my wife's '08 Dyna Bobber last year!
