Would you drive a car without ABS?

Just as bikes, ABS in vehicles has not been around forever. I have owned and drove many vehicles without ABS. Just as I have owned and ridden many bikes without ABS. I would probably have a bike with ABS if it was not an option and was standard equipment. It's just one more thing to have problems with and need to go to the dealer for repairs. When I bought my Deluxe last year it was sitting beside another Deluxe that looked exactly like mine. The difference was the other one had ABS and alarm and the one I bought had the dealer installed chrome front end package and no ABS or alarm.

i would.

I would just drive it differently than i would a car w/ abs. I think thats the same case. I never had a ABS bike and i wouldn't be opposed to owning one.

Don't have either...don't need them...bike works just fine w/o them & weighs less to boot.

I prefer having ABS and security. Not that I would not buy a bike without but I enjoy having both on my bike.

Don't like cars or bikes with ABS. I want to control my braking and how I'm going to do it without a piece of machinery getting in the way!

Car is far different - I drive mine in the rain and snow. So ABS is rather helpful. Don't have it on the bike - that I just got and it didn't bother me that it didn't.

Bought my 12 Streetglide in may. Dealer didnt have one in stock with ABS and having not researched ABS on a bike I was cool with not having it. Now that I've researched It, I wouldn't mind having it.

Regarding security system. In my opinion it is a must have on a new bike. Turn it off and walk away with confidence, no key, very convenient. My Streetglide had just come off the truck with no security. I told my salesman that I had to have the security and he through it in on the deal.

Good Luck.
