Having just installed my Custom Dynamics Genesis led turn signal modules on my new 2012 Slim I noted the actual turn signals flashed normal, but the dash indicator flashed fast. Custom Dynamics advised to turn on the four-way hazards for about a minute, turn them off and then turn on the left or right turn signal. That procedure synched-up my indicator light with the turn signals.

Not sure if this procedure has been posted before, (searching didn't turn up anything I could find).

 

Thank you! This just happened to me and i found this post. I relocated my signals on a Lo. This procedure fixed it!

 

dang it... love custom dynamics stuff... but i did not get informed of this trick...

 

I wasn't aware of it either.
When I installed mine the dash was flashing fast, like they said it would, but it stopped on its own, probably after I cycled the four-ways on to test them.
