Default Fuel Pack Relocation Help

I have a 2008 Night train and the power commander is underneath the stock bad lander seat. The problem is any seat I have tried to get that has back support wont work because the fuel back is in the way. Has anyone relocated it and if so have some advice or instruction? Thanks in advance

Where is yours mounted? I have an 07 Train, and mine sits flat ( Horizontal ) just behind and to the right of the battery in front of the rear fender. I've had a few different seats on there, never had an issue.

Mines mounted on the battery. The connector is what gets in the way of the seats I have tried that have back support. Which Power commander do you have I have the Fuel Pak one.

I had the same issue with the connector (as have several other posters). The best solution I've seen on this forum, especially if you want the flexibility of changing seats at will, was replacing the battery with a shorter one and allowing the connectors to occupy the space created above the battery. I'll need to have a look though my pms to find the battery part number and OEM.
