Default Should I attempt replacing intake gaskets?

Is it a fairly easy job? I have worked on cars my whole life and it looks pretty easy to do. Anybody else try it?

yeah its fairly easy, 2 of the allens are a pain to get too. i have a special bent ball head allen for that job. harley makes a ratcheting ball head allen for this job also but it sucks cuz it requires almost too many degrees for it to ratchet in that small of a space. check to be sure you have the right tools before you tear into it.

Ok cool, anything I need to do with the gaskets before installing them, or just put them in dry?

what's the reason for replacement anyway? you're sure they're leaking? tested them with some carb/choke cleaner? putting them on dry is fine.

Take the horn off and use a long handled allen wrench to remove the 2 bolts
