Vee Rubber White Wall Nightmare
#47
I purchased Vee Rubber White Walls from Dr.V-Twin last year this time. When I got them I took them straight to a custom shop to have them installed on my new spoke rims. When the blue tape was removed my White Walls were a yellowish creme color and they have been that way ever since. I spoke to the salesperson at Dr.V-Twin and his response was " it
happens like that sometimes" . What the ????? I tried contacting Vee Rubber via phone and certified letter and and never got a response on how to rectify the situation. Is there anyway to whiten these tires? I am so disgusted with the way they look!! Spending another $600 on tires with less than 1000 miles is not an option. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you pay for your tires with a credit card?
If so and you have tried to contact the manufacturer and or distributor with no luck you CAN get a refund. Call your card companies dispute department.
File a claim that you were sold faulty tires and the manufacturer/distributor will be FORCED to deal with you. If they don't the card company will refund your money and charge it back to them. I buy everything on my credit card for just this reason. You will be surprised how quickly you will get results doing this. Let us know how it goes.....

I did that with Fairing Factory when after 2 months they still hadnt shipped my bags, even though he said he had them ready to ship. Boy was he pissed when he got the message from my bank. I didnt know this, but the merchant gets charged a fee when you dispute a charge. So they are compeled to make things right before it gets to that. This guy was a tool so I didnt feel bad about causing him to lose money. I have read a few other stories about Dr. Vtwin sticking people with products that didnt fit their bikes etc.

Bummer on the tires. Did you look around on this forum before you bought those **** tires. I made the mistake a couple years ago. The bad thing is that DB isnt making WW tires anymore. So your stuck with the brownwalls. If it were me I think I would stick with blackwalls over the brown walls. But that just me.
