Default Need Help with taking the front wheel off

I have the manual for the Softail but for some reason, I can't find a way to take off that front rim from the forks. Either I am skipping the rocker section or they don't have the Rocker material.
It just shows a big nut on where the hub goes.
However on the Rocker, it has a indented hex screw on both sides and wondering how to take that off.
There are 2 5mm Hex nut only on the right side fork on the bottom.
I took that off but nothing.

I am for sure that I need to be loosening the Big Hex Screw on the Axle am I correct?
If so, what would be the size for that???

Just got a fender and eagerly wanting to put it on but without taking off the tire, I just can't access the torx screws that holds the fender.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure on a Rocker, but my Standard has two 1/2" nuts at the bottom of right fork and a 3/4" nut on the axle on the left side. All 3 have to come off. Hope this helps.

Not to argue, my experience has been after sliding the axle out, the wheel falls off. I do think the manual says to take the caliper off though.

Yes, the 2 bolts for the brakes definitely came off before anything.
The bolts at the bottom of the fork is more like 5mm Hex for the Rocker C.
At the same time, the bolt or Axle nut that I have in question is this on the picture.
I really don't know what to make out of this.
It just looks like a gigantic HEX head.

Well isn't that different! I'll shut up now. But I imagine that has to be unscrewed for the axle to slide out. There are enough Rocker riders in here, one of them is bound to chime in. Sorry I can't be more help.

Hey no problem, thanks for your info though.
I at least know knows that Rocker and other Softails indeed have different types of axles.
That's more knowledge for me!
