Got just over 11K on the factory dunlops, front had a little life in it. I have not owned the bike for all the miles, so it is possible one or the other could have been replaced at some point due to a nail or screw or something. I just put the new Michelin Commander IIs on. They are claiming that they got 24K on the rear tire with life left in the front testing it on a track in Texas. Believe it was in April-May time frame so it wasn't OMG hot yet, so that may vary your milage some. So far I like them. Tires feel really solid in the corners.

I got an 09 Fatboy and get about 11-12K on back, and about 20K on front--both have always been stock dunlops. I'm probably about 1/2 way thru my 3rd front tire and 4th rear, and got 46K miles on her so far.

Stock Dunlops on our 2010 Deluxes. Just changed 'em out at 10k. Very disappointed! Don't get me goin' on the pathetic planned obsolescence of motorcycle tires...IT'S A COMMIE PLOT!

Well, I have an 08 Night Train I picked up with 5100 miles last February. I've got 7525 on it now and I am hoping for about 10k. Don't know if I can get there, but I want to try.

After 9000 miles on the Dunlop, I just put the Michelin Commander ii on. From what I read they got 24,000 miles in testing so if I get half that I will be happy. First 200 miles and I like it so far.

Used to take my 2010 Heritage and all of my previous bikes to a local Harley dealer for inspection but since he retired and shut down, I was forced to go to another independent shop for inspection . The bike only has 4,200 miles and he passed it but said that the rear tire is borderline so it would need a new tire next inspection. The tire still looks the same as it did new. These factory dunlops don't have much tread when new. I ride the bike easy mostly over the road and have alway got at least 8000 miles on the rear and more on the front. I'm looking for a tire that has some meat on it to start with which seems to be impossible. What a racket they have going here, between the price of the tires and the labor to install and balance. Install would not be a problem, but no way to balance.

Do a search on Dyna Beads, may solve that issue for you. They work in tube tires.

I have 5000 on a rear Dunlop 404. It'll make thru this season, but I'm gonna have to put new tire on in the spring. Solo. 1800 mile road trip last summer. Pretty disappointed. If the Michelins work out for everyone, I'll probably go with that.
