I went with the HD 2" drop in the front and the kit came with a shorter stand. It aint so bad as I'm going to change it back. I might of exagerated a little. Maybe.

I am a little skittish bout making my bike not usable. I took my 74 Dodge Challenger to pro street class and then it became useless except for burning expensive gas and going fast. Hummm, that doesn't sound so wrong after all, maybe I just got old. wtf I need to think about this...

I hope 1.5 inch drop is not gonna require new lower stands.....

$16 bolts from ebay will get you 2" in the rear.

Couldn't be happier with mine, but for another $1,484 you can go with Shotguns.

Scrape a bit more and the ride bottoms out easier as can be expected, but would never go back.

But I have a feeling that it is still softer than Sporster shocks....
They were really harsh!

Shotguns are nice but that's tad bit expensive for me.
Maybe down the road, that would be an amazing upgrade for the bike.

+1...recommend getting the shock preload adjuster spanner wrench so you can dial it in where you want the preload (softer or stiffer ride)....i think it's like $6 at the stealership

Hi FireB, I was told that lowering the front only would screw up the way a bike handles. I can't say its a fact but you may want to look into it. Good luck, Mike

Thanks for the heads up mike!
The more I think about having it look more raked, the less I wanna lower the fronts.
I just thought it was customary to do both at once!

Your rite. It's the rear of the frame. I stand corrected.
