I have a 2010 Fatboy and I want to take it on a road trip by myself.
the Harley shop quoted and suggested a detachable medium low chrome along with a 5 bar chrome luggage rack. Both are detachable and it looks like it would be an ok option. I'm wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions, I'm wondering if there are any nicer selections if I opt for permanent sissy bar installation. I kinda like the sissy bars with the Harley Made in USA logo on them, the detachables look very plain at least in the catalog photos. I know I can opt for detachable hard bags as well, but I think I can get by with just the carrier. Any suggestions?

You might have better luck asking in the softtail section. The B/S section doesn't get so many hits.
