Let's talk Solo Seats
Ok, I have a Deluxe seat that I really like, but I wouldn't mind sitting back a bit further. I also like LOW. What are the options out there? Who's happy with what?
I see a lot of 'bare bones' type seats but they look like your *** is planted straight on the fender.
Or would I be better off just having the Deluxe seat sculpted out a bit?

If you dont want a barebones type, then I can recommend a Heritage or Springer seat for the Deluxe, it sits you back a little more, I have the Heritage and it real comfortable, although I would prefer the Springer like NC has, justthat you have to find one at the right price, Heritage ones can be picked up real easy. Barebone are what the name implies, real basic, but the C&C equivalent is real nice I have one, and I love it. Hope this helps.

Anyone try the Cobra Solo?

Not opposed to having a 'bar hopper' seat and then a regular for trips...

I wouldn't mind trying to find another stock seat for cheap and have it shaved in between the two and recovered

If I didn't have the 1925 seat on my 'bones I'd be getting another C&C solo seat. I've said this in other threads before, but I can't say enough good things about Chuck and the workmanship/service/style/comfort of their stuff. A solo seat for your ride with red piping and red diamond stitching would look pretty bad *** in my opinion.
