Default brake light: no running light but braking light works.

...and yes, I tried changing the bulbs.
(what is official bulb number tho?)

owners manual doesn't show a brake specific fuse, so any other ideas?

Check the fuses. The running light of the tail light and the brake light are on different fuses. You could have popped one, and not the other.

The fuse cover will identify running light fuse and the Napa brake light # is a 3157 for my 07.

I have a '95 sporty 1200 with the same problem .....bike only has 4 fuses/relays from what I can tell. Can't identify if any are blown. I'm assuming its the fuse box....can't find anything else. Please help

Cant find the fuse box. What best looks like the fuse box has what looks more like relays. right under the seat. Ive looked everywhere.
