So how many of you have lowered the front end? I have a 21" wheel and tire, and it looks that most that have this set up have the front end lowered.

Let us know how it goes...I have thought about upgrading to a touring bike many times, but can't seem to let go of the Heritage (got it set up perfect). I'm particularly interested about ride quality above 70 mph. If the shotgun shock provides a major improvement, that would put me in the market for sure. Thanks.

If you've followed my posts at all, you'll know that I was SERIOUSLY considering trading in the Train and grabbing a Street Glide, as the ride was KILLING me. I decided, after reading post after post of guys LOVING the SS, to give it a shot. So I know what you're talking about.

I'll be posting pix and a review as soon as its on.

Just changed my fluid to Redline last week...lowering the Shotgun adds maybe 15 minutes to the whole process. It would have went quicker but I did not have a ratchet wrench in that size (3/4) so I had to loosen the bolts 1/2 turn at a time.
