Arrow Swing arm mount license plate holder

Does anyone here have any experience with this type of license plate holder?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Swingarm-Mou...27c4ce&vxp=mtr

I really want to buy one but 1. I'm not sure if it will fit my 2007 Softail Custom and 2. How durable are they?

If this fits, I want to just take a hack saw to the current bottom part of the plate holder and eventually replace the light also.

Any help is appreciated!

It should fit no problem. You can find little LED lights for just such an application also on eBay.

OK cool!

I also like it because it can be mounted on the right or left. Right now I am running with a swing arm bag on the left and I am about to get some VH BSS pipes so I could mount it on the right, behind the pipes and I should still leave room for the passengers feet on the pegs.

Great find. That's the only side mount bracket I've seen that I like. Tight, compact and doesn't stick out a mile. Putting this on my list.

Swing arm mount license plate holder-p4290082.jpg I got mine from custom dynamics and it has LED lights built in so you dont have to buy light or run another tail/brake light. It was cheap and easy to install used my old belt guard mount and made a simple bracket out of a strip of 1/8" steel.

I LOVE that look but I am always worried as hell that someone won't see my tailight. I am either going to get the LED Trial light or keep the stock one and hack off the license plate holder on the bottom. Either way, I just don't feel comfortable without a large on the back fender. I am going to lower it also so it will help the overall looks.
