Yep, like everybody else has said. Neck bearings.. A little on the tight side is better than a little loose. Just a tiny loose and you've got the dreaded wobble.

I'll add this at risk of deviating from the service info...but I like to grease the neck bearings with a sticky grease (like HD wheel bearing grease) instead of their low viscosity "special grease". The sticky blue stuff doesn't separate and run oil in hot temps, and "may" add a little dampning to the steering.

The neck bearings still need to be adjusted per the fall away spec, and in my experience the thicker grease stays put in the neck even when exposed to heat.

I had this problem after the local Harley shop changed my back tire. Brought it back to them and they did an "adjustment" but I still had it. It wasn't until I changed the front tire about a month later the "wobble" went away. Back tire Alignment is crucial it seems.
