Default What oil to run in Fatboy?

I have a carb 04 88ci Fatboy. I bought it with too much oil in it. They used a cheap thin weight oil. I am wondering what other guys run. Thanks

And how many quarts with filter change?

Fatboy oil will work... Welcome to the forum....

With all kidding aside... for the motor, 15w50 or 20w50 works fine.

Default super tuner software

Ok soI'm new to this forum thing so if this is a stupid question I apologize. I have a SE street performance tuner in my 07 softail custom, what if I were to run the super tuner software thru the street tuner vci. the 2 vci's seem to be the same far as I can tell. Is harley just charging more for the same thing and the real difference is in the software?

Welcome to the forum! Amsoil 20w 50 in my Standard. They take about 3 qts. You do need to get a manual though.

If you open the "Softail" section, just below the header is a button to start "new thread".

I have a manual coming. I just wanted to see what other guys run. It's my first Harley. I rode one last year and said no more Jap bikes. Might not have the speed but something about the ride, it's love! Thanks for the replies
