Well, i worked on front steering ,both of my lower pinch bolts were snapped in half,got the old out ,put new in ,i torqued stem nut to 65 foot Lbs,pinch bolts to 40 ft lb,now will see how she rides ,thanks for the help,
Damn! Never heard of the pinch bolts snapping. You're pretty lucky you didn't go down with the top fork nut (essentially only an oil fill nut) being the only thing holding your forks to your trees! Consider yourself lucky that didn't result in more damage or injury. Good to hear ya got it fixed!
