I had a axel side mount license plate put on and now the axel clip wont go on. They say it is fine that way. But at the harley place in town they said they would make it so the clip would go on . Anyone have any idea how to do that. Would it be ok to leave the washer off and just use the plate as thew washer. I used the curved license plate from road 6 custom just not sure about the clip being left off i know it is just a saftey feature but a good one i think.

 

I have the Road6 side mount on my "11" Blackline, washer, plate mount,nut and clip, barely fit, but did manage to get the clip on...barely

 

wow the clip wont go on mine cant even see the slot for it. Maybe yours is thinner than mine.
