Been there, done that. Great 2nd or 3rd bike; but not comfortable for me for very long.

If you're under 30, do it. If not, stick with the old folks' bikes

Ha Ha Ha................... you're probably right. I'm under 60 physically but mentally I'm much younger.

I sure wouldnt mind a Night Rod Special. I'd mod the hell out of it...someday maybe. Too many toys right now.

I was lookin at the V Rod as my first Harley a few years ago. Comin from Sport Bikes all these years, I was just drawn that way. But they say you just know what the right bike is for you when you meet her. I'm so glad I went with my setup now. Maybe I'll add a VRod down the road.

Got one as a second bike. Different design for different purposes. I'm happy with mine. "Feel the need for speed", go from the Ultra to the Vrod.
