Default Troublemakers on an 07

I want to install a set of Hooker Troublemakers on my 07 Night Train. I just installed a set of these pipes on a 97 Fat Boy w/ the 95" engine, and I fell in love with them instantly. They have a very nice, deep tone, and they look awesome. On the Hooker website, they say that part # 27400-4HKR fits Softails w/ a 96" engine or larger. It doesn't say what yearsthey will fit though. I have tried twice to contact Hooker directly via email, but no reply. I plan on installing a PC III at the same time, which comes with O2 sensor eliminators. This works out well since the Hooker pipes do not come w/ O2 sensor bungs. I don't see why these pipes wouldn't work on my 07, unless the transmission or 200 rear tire would affect the mounting in some way, so I was just wondering if anyone had installed a set of these pipes on an 07 yet, and if so, were there any fitment issues. Thanks.

If you don't get a response, I would direct this question to Hooker and see what they have to say. Good luck!

My dealer told me that the only difference between the 88 and the 96 is in the stroke. All of the other motor measurements and dimensions are the same.

I recently installed a set of Samson pipes on my '07. the pipes were designed for an '06 with an 88" and 5 speed. I purchased these pipes vs. the '07 models because I didn't want the bungs either (I have a PCIII w/O2 elims. also). All of the mountiong points and gearbox clearances were fine.

Don't know about the Hookers, but everything I've seen, heard, and experienced indicates that you should be fine.

Good luck.
