Default Spring solo seat on softail

Anyone here have a Sprung solo seat on their Softail, eg. crossbones?

I have a 1999 Night Train and I have a really nice custom made solo seat laying around.

I know they make the mount kits for Softails but I would like to see some pics of how others have set them up.

I love mine. The most comfortable seat I've ever had.

It is not the stock seat. It's the tractor seat from Harley. For your bike you'll need a kit to install it. For my Bones it was a direct swap. It is a custom seat but it is super comfortable! No compromise here!

The P Pad is just the pillon from Harley also.

I think sprung seats on softails are a terrific combo. Maybe a bit loose for the hellraiser rider, but for regular riding, it's all win.
Just search the web for a kit that works for your year. Traditional springs are better than the V type, IMO. And go with a little higher spring to get more play.
I would like to figure out a way to put a true pogo on my scoot, but too much modding needed.

Hey rip, Can you do me a HUGE favor? Can you measure your seat for length, width (at the wide, *** cheek part), and the width between the springs?

I'm having a custom seat made and will probably use those measurements for it.

Sure will boss! I'm at work but I'll take pics with the tape measure in them if you want too. I am going to see if I can find a tape measure and I'll go over and do it right now.

If not it will be tonight when I get home.
