My latest pic. Note the PM caliper on the front, and trust me, it's on the rear too. This bike stops now.

If you don't mind me asking, How much do you have tied up in those PM brakes? I'm VERY interested in having my bike actually stop haha. The biggest problem these stock brakes give me is the rear calipers pistons getting dirty and having the pads drag, which leads to brake fade. Once I get these things off I'm going to kick them across the yard. Hahahaha

I have a little birdy telling me that GMA brakes is also working on something for the '06 and later 200mm bikes....

Anyone know if those PM brakes will fit on an FLSTSC? I have an 09 bones with the FLSTSC fender and would really like to be able to stop for once.

I have the part numbers for everything I ordered so I could help my fellow Springer riders in the future.

All told they ran about $870 but well worth it.

These are for the front:

You'll need the caliper and a Springer bolt kit.

Caliper P/N#
1701-0310

Bolt Kit P/N#
0109-100-CH

The tricky part is you don't use both bolts from the bolt kit. You'll hit the rotor.Use the long bolt from the bolt kit for the top mount of the caliper, but use the mounting bolt that COMES in the caliper for the bottom.

With the shims, I used alL the shims to center it over the rotor properly.

Purecountry, I'm not sure and would hate to tell you yes and you but the wrong parts. The option is there for you though, I know that much. But I'm assuming you still have the stock caliper mount. If you do, then no worries at all, it will fit.

I ordered through Dr. V Twin and they were more than helpful. They even contacted PM to ensure they sent the correct parts.

I posted a thread about the install too.

Thanks

I have the softail lowering kit on there at the moment, and with our terrible roads here I can't go any lower until I can afford shotgun shocks or something similar.
I have some Osprey bags in the way in the next week that are going to change the look again. New paint this winter might make a small difference too.

Heres another one. Sorry for the sh*t cell phone pics. One note is that I still have to add longer bolts and spacers to allow fitment of 8 inch subs inbetween space from bags to rear fender side but doing that today.
