Default V&H sideshots

I really like the BR 2into2, but everyone has them. Then I liked the 2into1, until I realized I'd have to relocate the passenger footpeg. Then I liked the shortshots until I read that they are terrible for performance. Now I am looking at the sideshots. They are really cool looking and I like the fact that they have a crossover section. I wonder.... why do I not see these pipes on more bikes? They are rare from what I have seen. I think they will look tight on my denim black FB Lo...

I would think the side shots would be about the same as short shots . I didn't notice any difference in performance with my short shots

Sideshots have a crossover section that makes them perform like a 2 into 1. They only look like a 2 into 2 pipe.

Looks to me like a lot of heat right under the leg. Then the ends right below your ears. I like the look but.....

Default Love the sideshots

Just installed the sideshots on my 05 Deuce. Changed baffles to the V&H "quiet baffles." Love the deeper sound. No performance change at all. No noticeable additional heat.

no heat until you pull off the shields and wrap them.

Are you suggesting to wrap the pipes under the shield???

I am looking to throw them on a Blackline. I am worried about the heat. May look at some reviews.

Default Sideshots

Had them on my Deuce for 2 months in Florida. Been in charity rides. Temps to 230/240. No more noticeable heat with sideshots than I had with my SE II exhaust system.
