what would be the point then unless your drag racing?

i'm just saying a wrapped pipe gives off more heat than a regular pipe with the heat shield on.
I never noticed the heat on my sideshots until i took the shields off and wrapped the pipes

 

The side shots a crap! The ONLY bikes they make them for in 2012 are the Sportsters, as far as Harley is concerned! They sound neat but make for poor performance.

 

Well, I just ordered them for my 2012 Blackline, along with the heavy breather and race tuner. I will see when my bike is delivered as I modded it our nicely from the dealer and some parts are on special order.

Don't see how they can be crap when they are actually 2 into 1 disguised...

I will be the judge. Beside, they look tuff!

I've got sideshots. I don't have any issues with heat.

 

Those would look even more badass if they ran along the side of the swingarm.
