Cool '04 Softail Standard windshield

Looking to get a windshield for my bike and wanted to get some thoughts on which way to go - permanent or detachable. I like the sleek look of my bike and don't want to give it the "old man" feel but I'm getting tired of the wind and bugs.

Any suggestions/recommendations would be much appreciated.

I have a H-D quick detach. Like you, I like the sleek look. Only on for LONG highway trips. I'll try to get pix up tonight. 17" tall from brace to top. pretty effective at speed.
And welcome to the Forum!

Go detach. For around town, no w/s, but for long trips, you'll be better off w/ a w/s. Just get one the correct height.
