Default Red Flake 72

I made the mistake of seeing a Red Flake 72 at the dealer today. Man, I fell in love. The whole look said old school to me. The white wall tires really compliment the bike. The big thing is the paint. Wow, it jumps right up at you. I never thought I'd entertain the idea of trading in the Fatty but this bike impressed me. Pictures don't come close to doing it justice. I saw the black denim one also and really liked it also. I'm not a chrome guy either but this bike floored me and for $11,000 or so it seems like a bargain. Now, can I convince the wife of the need for two bikes?

They have one at the local Dealer with the brown solo spring seat. Dang sure is sexy with that metal flake red paint.

Am I missing something? A person would trade in a bigger bike for a Sporster? I will admit though that I went and looked thru some sites and the red one just didn't do anything for me but then I seen the black denim one and boy, it's nice the way they had that one set up!! I'm a chrome ***** too but I liked that little black denim bike. I doubt seriousley though I would ever trade in my Deluxe for a sporster though. Now, a 2nd bike? Maybe but still there are others out there that I would have to seriousley consider before I got a sporster over any other bike. My 1st choice for a 2nd bike would be an old shovel head fixed up like my old 70 Electra glide. Hmm, choices!!!
