I just bought a Slim a couple weeks ago and I need good suggestions for sources of Ape Hangers. It seems like everyone and their brother has something for sale but I want actual rider's suggestions.

Other mods in the next week are lots of black parts, Vance and Hines Big shots, stage 1, and so on. Oh and a Widow Maker Suicide shifter.

BR bars....he'll build anything you want and the quality is top notch but it takes about 8 wks to get them....if not then carlini is the 2nd choice

I'm in the same boat. I will begin my next round of mods this comming winter and the apes are the only decision that still hangs me up. I want them but as soon as I pick one brand someone posts something that once again leaves me wondering. I guess I keep comming back to Carlini's, Gangster's. Time will tell and I will keep watching this post. It will either make my mind up for me or just keep me confused.

I like the Todd's cycle strippers. Mine are 10" but they also have 12" and 14" I believe.

Curious to see how you like the WMI shifter. There's been lots of mixed opinions on here. I went standard foot clutch/jockey shift and love it so far.
