Default NO CHROME BOOMERANG COVERS FOR 2008 FLSTN and NEWER????

I have a 2009 softail deluxe and put the chrome swingarm on and I cant seem to find the chrome boomerang covers that are currently black that are covering my Harley Davidson CHROME swingarm that fit my bike. I have the SAMSON tru dual 42 inch cholos....I may even be willing to modify something if it will work???!!!

Motown....will these work with Samson Tru duals? I think the left side exhaust bracket near the primary may not clear the boomerang cover.

I have a an 08 and I came across the same isssue with the left side exhaust brracket interfeering with the left boomerang. Let me know if you have any luck mmodifying them.

You said you might be willing to modify so you might be able to cut down the length with a cut off wheel then coat the raw edge with clear nail polish. Go slow, you can touch up a crooked cut on a disk or belt sander but take small hits and use a quenching bucket so you don't discolor it. I cut down a chrome heat shield last month and it was fine. Use a thin wheel.

It looks like you can make a nice cut just below the bottom radius of the boomerang shape. This would make it like the old style that you posted the pic of.

yep...that's exactly what I'm going to do....I'm going to see if kury can send me a raw set for a bit less, I'll cut it and then have the parts machined and triple chromed...might as well do this thing RIGHT! Thanks everyone...i will post pics when I'm done.
