Default 130 to 150 conv

Anyone give me spacer dimensions on changing to a 150mm tire? My space is 1/4 on belt side and about 3/4 on pipe side. Also feels like the bike rides really tight since putting on new tires or is this just me being use to the old slick tires?

Not enough info. What are you riding? Did you change wheels too? If your stock tire was a 130, and you went to a 150 with out changing anything else, the tire/wheel should still be centered in the fender I believe. Whether it fits or not is another question. Did you get the spacers mixed up? Just askin, not tryin to be a wise-***.

02'softail standard, to my knowledge and what I can tell from the HD manual the spacers are correct .The manual for this year needs an update , the pics aren't correct for my bike.
I've went to Metzlers from the Dunlops. My concern is the clearance more so then the alignment. Granted they gp together . I dont want to cut a new tire. Rode it around the block and it seemed really tight. Not sure if thats just me or the tires being new and sticky?
Any help?

I'm not entirely sure about an '02, but my '04 came with a 150. Don't think they changed in 2 yrs. But I've been known to be wrong, once or twice. My HO, you should be fine. I'll go measure mine and see what I come up with.

I have 13/16 inch between my tire and the belt guard. Makes me wonder if I could go to a 180.

Default tire 150

I am running a 150 on my 01 Fatty (factory calls for 130/90-16) and used the stock spacers, stock wheels...yours should be fine.

well machinist...A little math shows 13/16 = 20 mm, so 20 mm each side plus your 150 = 180 should fit in theory.

Thanks, Lang. Just a thought for the future. New tire went on last summer, so I have a while, yet. Think a 180 would look ok on a Standard?

You can get a 160 metz under there. Been running one since06. belt clearance is not the problem,i have better than a quarter inch belt side. fender mounting bolts are the problem though with a16" wheel. You have to get a star nut on the rear strut bolt replacing the stock set up. I tweeked the struts with a porta power for good measure. It's never rubbed. Moving to an 18x4" wheel you can squeeze a 170-55-18 in there also us
