Default Will a FLSTC Heritage front wheel fit a FLSTS Heritage Springer?

Does anybody know if they are the same? I've tried to research it, but I have got conflicting answers. Thanks!

BTW, I know they changed in 2000, I'm talking about an EVO Heritage wheel vs an EVO Heritage Springer ('99 and older)

Cool

When I ordered the Hallcraft Radial Laced wheel for my '96 BadBoy, they
told me that the wheel had to be made especially for a Springer because of
the extra weight of the front end. Something about the wheel collapsing if it
wasn't engineered for the bike.
If you check wheel sites you will find regular wheels listed for FXSTC, XL, FLH and
whatever under one part number, then they will have Springer wheels listed under
a different p/n.
I wouldn't take the chance, I'd buy a wheel for a Springer.

My "guess" is that it will fit. I'm basing that on the fact that when I ordered my King Spokes the "only" question they asked was whether I needed a single or dual disc front wheel. And the wheel they sent bolted up perfectly with stock spacers.

I'd be willing to wager that what they told you was nothing more than ridiculously absurd BS. It doesn't sound at all logical and makes no sense at all. It would take one hell of a pot-hole or curb to actually collapse a wheel. But that's just my opinion.

Awesome Bad Boy BTW

Thanks for the info. I've read in a few places that there is an offset difference to clear the caliper, and others say this is not true.

The other thng I can think of on a Bad Boy is possibly that it is a big diameter wheel with only 40 spokes. I can see that wheel maybe needing to be beefier moreso than a 16" wheel, but that's just my guess.

Can somebody tell me if a Front Wheel Single Disc 3/4" Axle, 16 x 3.5" , will fit a Heritage 92?

I know it uses a 16" inch wheel, but don't know anything else.
Thanks!

Yes, as long it uses Timkem bearings. You can run a wheel with sealed on you bike, but the factory spacers will have to be changed.

To answer this question I originally asked, Yes, a Heritage Classic wheel will fit a Heritage Springer. In the front and rear. I ended up ordering a 18" X 3.5" that was listed for a FLSTC Heritage for my Springer.

97heritagespringer, Let me say that you have a very cool bike!
What ft. tire are you running ?
I just picked up A 03 heritage springer "shmoo" and would like to put A 18" on the ft.
Again, nice bike.

Thanks! The front is a Dunlop K177 120/90 18. It is the only 18" tire I found that was taller than the normal 16" tires and it has a full size whitewall, unlike most that have a thin WW. If you are still running a Dunlop in the rear, the thread will even match, as its the same as the Dunlop HD tires. The best was that it only set me back $138 shipping included. I bought it from a guy on ebay. I'd post the link, but I'm on my phone. You can search Dunlop 18 or K177 and you'll find it.
