Default 2012 Fatboy LO Gloss Black engine guard kit...28" inseam is mustache bar better?

Howdy again, Last mod question for me. Well for this season anyway lol. I ordered the Gloss Black Engine Guard Kit for my LO. I didnt like the look of foot pegs that I do not think I will be tall enough to use on the mustache bar, but someone told me that with my 28" inseam I should fit perfectly. My question...is it worth buying and installing that bar that I do not really like the look of over the kit I ordered to try to use the foot pegs, or is it better to keep the engine guard i have coming and figure out some peg mounts...which i ordered the gloss black highway peg mount kit angled-long please advise on what a 5'7" 28" inseam guy should get in your riding experience. Once this problem is solved I am done spendin Baby!!!

Well I have the mustache bar on an 11 Fatboy Lo with a Corbin seat and a 29" inseam and just barely reach. I had to replace the ham can air cleaner with the tuned lenght S&S air cleaner to reach the right side. If I had to do it all over again I would do just the engine guard and get some adjustable Hyw pegs that you can make to reach. They're wider and more comfortable that the Mustache foot rests. My .02

But can't you just throw wide adjustable highway pegs on a stach bar? I'm 6'2" 33" inseam, will this be a problem for some reason i'm missing?
