Had an issue with the glue on the left grip as well. I used some other kind of glue I had hanging around the shop but I don't remember what it was.

The glue on throttle broke loose in rush hour traffic a few years ago at first I thought it was a cable after I coasted over to the shoulder I realized what had occurred....pulled the grip off and used the internal throttle assembly to get home .......re-glued it and no further problems. I personally like the grips......hope this helps?

I have them on 2 bikes now and love them/no issues. One of the bikes is 9 years old and they are still fine. I add the spikes at the end to give it a little edge...LOL

I scuffed up the clutch side bar with emery cloth first, was a biotch getting it off to change the bars.

I have ISO's on both my Street Glide and Rocker, I made sure to clean up the bars with a good grease/oil remover first then use an emory or fine sandpaper to rough up the surface. So far the glue has held fine.
