Agreed it is ugly, but it goes on and off in 2 min. Just 4 bolts. I only have mine on when needed, other than that ride solo seat only.

I found that the stress on a swing arm mounted fender are significant. After my shake down ride, 1 bracket had broken:



Then after 5,000 miles the sissybar broke



It takes a lot of "beef" to hold it together


But it looks cool, just no passengers!

A consideration is what happens when you hit a pothole or a rough expansion joint. That 150lb passenger becomes about 300/400...

I could be wrong, but it doesn't look like it is swing arm mounted. I believe it mounts on that flat area just behind the battery.
