No the security light does not come on. Your just using the existing plug for turn signals that you would use if you mounted the aux lights with turn signals. The hardest part was putting the switches back together after cutting the turn signal wires. Just take some time and patience. oh and a break and a few beers to calm down after first couple of tries on the throttle side.

Thanks Kevin. I have your tank lift to do as well but I just can't seem to keep it empty long enough to install it.
