I'm running an aftermarket HID Headlight. Came with the bucket already pre-installed with the HID kit on the inside. Puts out awesome light! It has HID high and low beams, but never need to use the high beams.

Some others here swear by the new LED lights though.
+1 with the blue dot.

You can find the Truck Lite LED headlights for 299 regular and 269 or maybe a few $$ less on sale. I opted to go with the HD LED because I liked the look much better. Check on New Castle HD online for the best deals on the HD LEDs. I just ordered the aux light setup for my LO and they had the best prices.

The headlight was plug and play but, the auxiliary lights required cutting and soldering. Piece of cake though. The lights overall are designed to be better that OEM although I believe that the dots and tri-bars are for looks.

Mine was plug and play. Had to turn around the bumper inside is all. +1 on the nostalgia look.

=======================================

Awhile back it was posted in here some member did that, melted the wires by running a 100 watt bulb..

Do some reading and searching before U just change out the bulb for a higher wattage.
