New 6 Piston Caliper & Rotor, Brakes Just 'O.K.', How Long Before They Break In?
#11
#12
I installed Lyndall's last summer only on the front stock brakes, I do remember it took a while to achieve max braking but I really don't remember how long.
At the same time I had reg MoCo brakes put on the rear, I do remember they took longer than the Lyndalls to seat in.
I'll say it was probably at least 100-200 miles.
And as most say above, anytime U do new brakes, NO hard stops at high speeds.
getting new brakes too hot before seated will cause them to glaze and never work as good as they should.
