I've got a Mustang on my '02 Fat Boy. One of the best investments I've made to the bike. Has a knurled **** so that there is some forward/rearward adjustment on the rider backrest.

 

I have the Mustang solo seat with the adjustable backrest. I also have the matchingrear seat. I ride mostly solo on my Heritage so Ibought the studded fender bib to make the Heritage flow---I love how itlooks. Now I can quickly change from solo to two up riding in a few minutes.
I do have to say that the seat moves you up a little. Though the comfort and the ability to lean back are worth the small distance it moves you up. I would save up the extra money you won't be disappointed.

Mine was a freebie when I bought my bike..there was a reason for it.Been over a year and still not broken.I plan on keeping but will have it "scooped " out some.Otherwise.its not comfortable at all.The only thing I like about it is that the backrest is adjustable and is ok for long rides to sit back on.But then you slip forward and there is not enough width up front..actually the seat sucks.

 

That's the one I put on my Heritage. The seat is comfortable enough for me and the back rest lets me do 1000 days no problem.

But as others have stated it will move you forward. This is due to the backrest adjust mechanism taking up space. That tool a little bit of getting use to.

Someone posted a link to a company that has a backrest that fits the stock seat. When I get a bit of spare change I am going to test it and see if I can get my leg room back with back support.

 

I went with a stock seat from a Heritage Springer and got the low seat rail pad for it. I find that it does the job and I love the look.

 

I have decided to go with the Mustang. Sometimes just got to go with function over form. Thanks for all the replys
