Default Blackline - Exhaust Clearance Issue

My Blackline is currently running a D&D Fat Cat purchased from the crew over at Fuel Moto. After a couple days riding time, I realized this particular exhaust (coupled with my riding style) just isn't going to work out. I called Jaime and company and we are currently determining what will work without clearance issues (preferably 2-1). My purpose for posting this here: Soliciting first-hand knowledge from owners of low-slung Softails regarding exhausts that can stay off the ground during hard cornering. Thanks in advance - picture included to give a better idea of what I am talking about.

Damn kid you are laying that thing right over to scrape the ft pipe. You need an exaust that sits higher than the frame rail

I was scraping my pipes too. I just installed my Shotgun shock and it helps since I can jack it up higher. I haven't ridden it enough to see if it has solved the problem, but I think it has.

You can check out the lowcat from D&D which has the muffler and such up higher but with the scrapes you have on the head pipe not sure if that will work either. The vance and hines competition series is a much shorter pipe but it sits pretty low as well.

I think a shock that is adjustable is the way to go for you as you ride hard obviously.

Vance and Hines makes that RSD Tracker 2 into 1 but IMHO it's ugly as all hell.

Thanks for all the replies. I think the V&H Comp Series is 'the one'. I recently saw one on a Softail and it sits significantly higher than my D&D Fat Cat. Of note, I also saw a Thunderheader 2-1, Rinehart 2-1, and V&H Big Radius 2-1. All of them cleared the ground comparably to the Fat Cat (the Big Radius clearance issue is only significant in the rear due to curvature toward the ground). The only part on the V&H Comp Series that has any chance of scraping (without the bike going over all the way of course) is the extreme aft section of the muffler; that I can deal with. Thanks again for the collective input.

Wholeheartedly agree; not in a million years would that find its way on my bike.
