Default Will a 250mm Avon fit on a Rocker with no Mods?

Sorry if this question has already been asked and answered but I searched for a while on here last night and couldn't find one.

Will a 250mm Avon Cobra 250/40-18, mounted on a 8.5in wide rim, fit on a Rocker that has the stock setup with no mods to the swing arm? Stock setup for a Rocker is 66 tooth, 1in wide pulley and 11.5in rotors. I'm installing a Heartland kit (not the 280 kit) and want to fit as much rubber under it as possible without rubbing or having to pull the primary to change out the belt for a thinner unit.

Plenty of info on the 260 Metz fitting the Rocker but I'm hearing the Avon 250 is actually wider...?

Doing some mods at the house so want to be sure before I order new wheels and vendor couldn't say for sure. Here's a teaser pic of the Heartland mocked up in my garage..

not sure about the Avon, but the Dunlop 250 Elite 3 does just fit. Maybe compare the specs with the Avon to confirm.

I wouldn't call a new rim and the heartland kit "no mods", but interested to know as well. I've done a lot of reading and see where many have switched the rear wheel but still don't know why, I thought you could squeeze the 250 or 260 on the stocker. Why did you change?

I'm changing cuz I want a 8.5in rear rim and 21in front wheel. Was going to wait but the rear bearing in the stock rim failed on me at 9K miles. As for mods I was really talking about just not changing the pulley, belt, and brakes....

Thanks RD. I'm not wanting the change out the belt if at all possible. Don't like the thinner unit (seems too small to handle my style of riding and a passenger?). Plus with everything I'm doing I'm not wanting to pull the primary to switch the belt...too much work and pain in the **** lol. Love the look of your bike though...

Cheers, fwiw it's the same size belt every other softy has

I've run mine for over 10,000 k's and not a hint of any issues

Please let me know how you go with that 250

I'd be interested in knowing if it pulls to one side when u let go of the bars

Thanks

Dan
