What kind of bike do you have? The reason I ask I have some 16's for sale but they are for a springer front end..

EDIT..I just saw your name and it has a flhx in it so it answers my question...

Actually I have a 06 Heritage Softail now but its not a springer. I created this login when I had my last bike. Thanks.

I went with 16's and stock risers. I'm only 5'5", very comfortable for me. Look at sig.

im in the same boat. 6 ft and thinking about going with 16" bars. now i just need to decide what bars i want and from what company...

Pretty close as a start. To each their own, and if you sat on a bike and didn't like the 18s, I think 16s would be fine. Depends on where you want your hands.

I'm 5'7" and have 12.5s on 3.5" risers, pushed forward, and they sit just above shoulder height - perfect for me. I played with the angle until I found what I liked best.

Cant go wrong with Carlini apes. I'm 6-4 riding with 18" Carlini Gangster Apes and love the ride. I believe Carlini apes run a littler higher than what they're advertised. I chose mine by doing research through the forums. Lots of information out there.

Nope HD's. They came with a 4 inch riser.
